She still made the hike down OK. This week, the week of her birthday her and I made it up and down without incident, other than sore legs. <br /><br />She makes this hike look easy after a year which included months in the hospital, 5 weeks in intensive care, 8 major surgeries, and about 12 minor ones. What can I say? It is a great trail. I'd recommend doing it early in the day and later in the season when your fitness is good. Early in the day on weekdays would be good because being this close to Denver there are going to be a lot of hikers. Also this area probably gets hot in the summer. <br /><br />I usually run front/back air pressure of 15/25 for Falcon Trail, here I'd go maybe 30/35 because of a lot of sharp volcanic rock.
