Name that Cat Tune Contest…

Due to the huge response to the “Cool Cats of Colorado Springs” post below (I am more of a dog person so this was a shock to me!) I decided to have a Name that Cat Tune Lyric contest.

Prizes will given to the first 500 who get the song and the band right.

Name the tune AND the band which includes the following lyric:

(HINT: Many bands have covered this song but this BAND is one that uses horns in its early work)

If I had my choice of matter
I’d would rather be with cats
All engrossed in mental chatter
Showing where your mind is at
While relating to each other
How strong the love can be
By resisting all the good times with every groovy chick we see

Back to school with Steve...

Hit Ute Trail with my neighbor whom is also a PhD in mountain biking...Thank you for the free education Steve!

Garden of the Dogs…

Mid week, mid day, mid 60’s, mid February there won’t be any people there, right?

WrongO, Bucko. Everybody and their dogs were out there. Once on the hiking trails it wasn’t too bad though and I got to catch up with my world traveler buddy, George.

Images of the hike are
HERE

Bring it on!

I realize that parts of the country are in a drought, but at 55 degrees and crystal blue sky's the view from my patio of Pikes Peak makes it worth it!

I am glad I am not this good at REAL bowling...

...by now all those years on the professional bowling tour would have really started to take their toll...

The Girls Are Back In Town...

Chelsea and Chad came over for a desk. We did what we could. I hope it doesn't end up in the Boulder City Police Department storage!

Chad and the girls went down to 'Monster Cave' and enjoyed some of Jina's expert Chi Tea making...

HERE
is a link to the fun and festivities...

Ute Valley Park With Gary...

Friends don't let friends ride mountain bikes on pavement...

Had a great time at Ute Park this am with Gary.

Gary is a former tennis pro, and in years past really put the hurt on me doing things like climbing Eagle Peak.

What a difference a few years and a bad ankle sprain can make!

Poor ol' Gary bailed on me and tried to take pavement back to the truck.

Oh, well it was still a great time...

And for those of you questioning whether or not this guy can actually ride a mountain bike check out this time lapse photography HERE!!
