I know this is hard to believe but in October 2008 Terri had a cancer tumor burst on the hike up to Stanley Canyon. She still made the hike down OK. This week, the week of her birthday her and I made it up and down without incident, other than sore legs.
She makes this hike look easy after a year which included months in the hospital, 5 weeks in intensive care, 8 major surgeries, and about 12 minor ones. What can I say? She is amazing!
